August

My, my, August has flown by! Kayla and Sierra went to Oklahoma for what was supposed to be 3 weeks and ended up to be 3 and a half. Kayla decided to extend their trip by having the chicken pox. Thankfully, it wasn't a bad case. They had a great time...flying there and back by themselves. Meanwhile, we parents got to goof off, except when I (Jen) got sick for a week. It has been great to finally have them home. We have truly been blessed with great kids!
This week has been spent (and spent $$) getting school supplies and such. The girls are excited about going to public school this year. They got to meet their teachers yesterday. Kayla, now in the 5th grade, has Mrs. Sheehan. Sierra, now in the 1st grade, has Mrs Stewart. They are most looking forward to the large playground equipment and hot lunches. Priorities, you know.
It oughta be a rough week since we have yet to get on our "school schedule". They gotta be there at 8 am....ooooooohhhh cranky kids, my favorite!
All in all, this summer has been a very stressfull one. We are looking foward to the changes God has in store. I think we may all be suprised at what He has in store.
Jennifer
