Yikes! I'm in 7th grade!

Hi! Kayla here. I'm out of school and (gulp!) now in 7th grade. I'm going to go to a school named McCormick Junior High School.I'm.....uh..... sort of nervous.
Now -- onto more exciting things. Not today, but next Saturday -- June 23rd -- Sierra and I are going to something called S.P.A.C.E. Jr. Deployer. We get to experience what Dad does when he deploys. It isn't exactly what he does when he deploys because he is a Chaplain and this is for soldiers.
On Friday, June 8th, Sierra and I went to a banquet with Dad. Now, this wasn't just any banquet, no, this was a special banquet for just dads and their daughters. Almost every young lady had a fancy dress on. Every one was beautiful. We danced, we ate we had dessert, we listened to a guest speaker. It was a magical night. We also had a friend of ours named Andrew Ralon play the violin. It was a blast.
For anyone who didn't know, my Aunt's horse, Expresso, was supposed to have a baby, but she started being a little stubborn and waited about another week before having it. We (
Sis and I) can't wait to see it! Aunt Mel named it Double Shot.
Well, that's about it. Come back next Saturday for more!

Sincerely,
The Smiths
